I am so delighted to be graduating from ACT - ARTbundance Certification Training this month! Which means, that I am now officially a Certified ARTbundance Coach and Practitioner!!!
ARTbundance is a unique philosophy that uses art, creativity and imagination as conduits for self-exploration, growth and transformation.
I began my journey this spring, feeling completely unqualified, yet completely drawn to is as if by some magical force. I share more about my experience in another post called Awakening Soul.
I felt unqualified for many reasons:
However, I loved reading, learning, poetry and all forms of creative expression and most of all, I loved seeing transformation in myself and others. It felt so right to be pursuing this training - I felt an irresistible pull into ARTbundance that was impossible to ignore. And so feeling excited and a little scared, I signed up for ACT.
From the very first week I knew I made the right choice. Everything felt magical! I was completely inspired during each of our weekly calls, when new material was presented and couldn't start working on the weekly creative assignments (ARTsignments). Creating them was effortless and easy - I had forgotten how much fun it is to create!
To my complete surprise, I discovered that
Most importantly, I discovered that I am an artist - we all are! Our canvas is our life! We get to make it into whatever we choose: an adventure, a discovery, a passionate pursuit of joy, an ever-expanding journey to transformation and growth, a powerful space of love & kindness - are all our own creation. We create in the kitchen, on the computer, in a journal, in the garden, in an office or home - as much as we create on the canvass in the art studio!
ACT provided opportunities to try many new and exciting things such as creating a muse, writing a manifesto, deep play, even singing (!) and, of course, lots of doodling, drawing, painting - all in a safe and supportive environment. I felt so freeing to create again... In the midst of all the fun and play, there was some serious growth and expansion taking place too. I learned so much - about the new techniques and tools, principles and the coaching process. I also learned about myself, my fears, my insecurities and my gifts, hidden talents that would have never been discovered had I not started to look inside and gently and lovingly drawing them out into the light of day. I learned that I love to inspire people through teaching and coaching and I absolutely love to create!
And so, it is my wish for you is to to give yourself permission to discover your hidden gems and share their exquisite beauty with the world.
My biggest joy is to inspire transformation in myself and others and to see our true beauty and light shining brightly like stars in the evening sky, blessing everyone around!
I am excited to find out where this journey will take me and for all the exciting things that lay ahead!
